Core Classes

All students at ARK are required to participate in core classes, which
are essential components of our curriculum.
These classes are designed to provide students with deep knowledge and
understanding of scripture, with a strong emphasis on biblical foundations
for worship and creative arts. The core classes cover theological understanding
of worship and intercession, personal development focusing on building
Christ-like character and spiritual growth, exploration of the Christian
worldview, interpretation of scripture, leadership and discipleship training,
study of foundational doctrines, and cultivation of artistic talents with
a mission-driven approach.
Specialisation Tracks:
ARK offers three specialisation tracks to cater to the diverse interests and talents of our students:
Worship Music
This track provides students the opportunity to study music
production, focusing on building the essential skills for worship
teams in a contemporary context. Students will study music theory
and fundamental musical principles, participate in classes on
drums, guitars, and keyboards, and receive vocal lessons. They
will also receive guidance on the songwriting process, which will
enhance their ability to create, perform & record music in worship
environments.

Audio Production & Live Sound
This track is crafted to offer students a comprehensive
understanding of audio production fundamentals. Covering topics
spanning from pre-production to post-production techniques,
students will engage in both theoretical learning and practical
application.
Key topics covered include:
- Sound theory & acoustics
- Ear training
- Fundamentals of recording technology
- Understanding audio workflows, practices and standards
- Event technology
- Live sound reinforcement
- Introduction to digital audio workstations
- Post production
Visual Media Production
This track provides an in-depth study of the different components of visual communication and multimedia production. This caters to students who are interested in creative expression, storytelling, and effective communication through visual media. Through a combination of theoretical discussions and hands-on practical sessions, students will acquire both knowledge and skills in the following key areas:
- Video production & filmmaking
- Photography
- Live streaming
- Visuals for church
- Audio for visual media
- Social media for church
- Graphic design & branding
These are special worship nights organised on a Friday that will bring the students together to experience life changing encounters with God and grow in their relationship with Him.
